Garden History
history
Picture 1 – The people we bought our house from kept the sales details of when they bought the house in 1994. This picture is the view up the garden as it was in 1994.

Picture 2 – This is the garden on 9 September 2006, 2 months after we moved in. The previous owners managed to convert the garden into a jungle and this is the scene after a number of days effort chopping back and uncovering things.

Picture 3 – Taken on 13 September 2008. After many hours and many pounds spent the garden is pretty much finished and back in a workable non-jungle state. The changes are the removal of the old shed & summer house; new patio; new retaining walls; the entire garden dug up and plants thinned out or removed; new lawn; approx 10 trees removed (not an exageration!); remaining trees pruned; new shed.
