Fighting The Weather

It was a very wet and windy day in the city today. From the shelter of the bus stop I watched the person on the bench in this photo fight an impressive battle against the storm, with only a flimsy umbrella that was clearly not up to the challenge. Apparently this stormy weather will be with us for the next few days, but I’m willing to put up with it as long as the promise of a sunny weekend is still on the table.
