Weather Clock Video

A video of the clock being turned on, receiving and displaying the current weather, and showing how the web interface of the clock allows setting changes.
Here I changed the temperature to include the windchill and then returned it to unadjusted temperature.

The Rest House, Bournville Village Green – Weather vane

I almost didn’t take these, thinking I’ve already got old shots of the Rest House. But I saw a blue plaque and took a few shots of it.
I do have a shot of this view from last year when it was the Carillon Visitor Centre, and the blue plaque was on it then as well.
I also spotted this amazing looking weather vane / wind vane on the Rest House. Came out well with the perfect blue sky.
The Rest House is a Grade II listed building.
Erected 1914 to commemorate the Silver Wedding of Mr and Mrs George Cadbury the
previous year. By W Alexander Harvey. Brick with stone dressings; tiled roof.
Modelled on the Farm Market, Dunster, Somerset, but closed not open. Octagonal with
3-light mullioned windows with, above, projecting gables with 2-light mullioned
windows. The 2 tiers of windows are separated by deeply overhanging eaves supported
on brackets. The steep-pitched roof is surmounted by a small glazed lantern with
elaborate metal weathervane.
