Telluride Bad Weather

High dynamic range – a fusion of several exposures. This technique proofs useful in the narrow valleys of the San Juan mountains – otherwise there are always deep shadows somewhere. The rain clouds were cruising above Telluride, CO.

I should have gone out earlier in the day to get a picture as the weather turned wet this afternoon.

I wanted to get a daylight shot in this weekend. So it was on with the long lens (as it has a hood) and off to the cemetery.

I was fortunate to see a woodpecker whilst I was there but it didn’t hang around long!
