Weathering Storms

This is the newest addition to my ‘Abandoned NC’ series. It’s hard to say how many storms that this old boathouse has weathered, but it’s a safe bet that the boat that resides here has seen better days. Shot this great little bit of abandonment along Hwy 55 near Stonewall, NC. If you’ve ever traveled that direction, you’ll probably find it familiar.

Harsh weather, Lyon, 2015

That was a pretty cold day in the Monts du Lyonnais. The wind was blowing and the weather was harsh. I enjoy those frozen mornings of winter as the nature is peaceful and so beautiful.
