Twelve Apostles – Bad Weather

These rock formations in the water are called the Twelve Apostles. Unfortunately, they are not so "rock solid", because some of them have already been knocked over by the sea. Better enjoy it as long as we can, because some day they might all be gone!

This is a redo of an older photo, using Photomatix to enhance the dynamics of the photos (though I didn’t use different exposures, just the 16 bit RAW files). I love how the sky and sea look so big, endless, unforgiven and threatening in contrast with the "golden" coast that look more like a safe heaven.
