Per the weather channel’s tornado expert, there is 70% (which is pretty high for the Weather Channel) chance of a tornado within a 50 mile radius in the MDT risk area: pbs.twimg.com/media/CW6btP8WAAAq19d.png

NWS Memphis has advised that the 11 AM- 11 PM CDT time-frame seems to have the greatest chance for severe weather in its county coverage area.

Stay safe, all you in that risk area! I’ll be watching the storm coverage later today once I return from a doctor’s appointment, so don’t be surprised if you see more weather from the TV photos later in the day.
