Prinses Máxima bij opening Holland Dance Festival 2009

Woensdagavond 28 oktober is in de aanwezigheid van koningin Beatrix en leden van de koninklijke familie, waaronder prinses Máxima, de 12 editie van het Holland Dance Festival geopend. Tijdens de gala-avond in het Lucent Danstheater presenteerden het Nederlands Dans Theater I en II het speciale openingsprogramma 50 Years of Challenging Dance.

Holland Dance Festival is Holland’s largest international dance biennial that is hosted in The Hague every two years since 1987. In every edition Holland Dance Festival strives to show a large selection of relevant developments in contemporary dance. This years festival celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Netherlands’ standard bearer of the dance: the Nederlands Dans Theater.
