Like the Weather

The 5 inches of snow we were to have turned out to be a light dusting, which melted away in 7 minutes (give or take). No snow since our somewhat disastrous storm in October; no significant or lasting snow this winter at all. I like the weather. I can do without snow.

I’m off work for a few nights so Jess can catch up a little on sleep. Charlie’s 8 weeks old tomorrow (and still living with his parents; how sad is that?) and Jess has gone back to work.

Nikon F2, Micro-Nikkor 55mm f3.5 lens, on Kodak Portra 400. Not a test case for sharpness — handheld shakes, you know, plus whatever damage I do scanning — but the negatives have beautiful contrast, so I think I’ll enjoy shooting with this lens.
